Martina Stock was born in Schwarzach im Pongau and grew up in Bischofshofen. After graduation, she went to the US for a year as AuPair. In the year of the attacks, she landed in a military family in Meridian Mississippi, which marked her stay. After that she started at the Art University Mozarteum Salzburg, Class Graphics and New Media, Technical & Textile Design and Geography at the NAWI Salzburg, which she completed in 2009. In between, followed by an Erasmus stay in Krakow / Poland and after studying in Salzburg for one year at the UDK Berlin. Since 2012 she works as a freelance artist. In 2015 she was invited to teach as a lecturer for the screen printing class at the Summer Academy in Dresden. From 2010 - 2015 she lived in Vienna, from 2009 - 2010 and 2015 - 2019 in Berlin. Since 2019 Salzburg and Berlin.
Due to the constant project funding of the City of Salzburg, City of Salzburg, Salzburg, BKA Vienna, Salzburg Festival, Bildrecht Vienna, Foreign Ministry Austria, sponsors of the private sector, she was able to realize her projects. This showed them in an international / national context in China 2019/2018/2013/2015, in Japan 2017, Brazil 2016, Armenia 2014, USA 2013, Germany and in their native Austria. Numerous artistic stays abroad as well as the receipt of various AIR scholarships such as in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Dresden, South Africa, USA, Cuba, Iceland, Porito Moreno, India, as well as the trip with the Trans-Siberian Railway have positively influenced their work. 2016 followed the dissolution of the music formation ciferencesymphony, which she co-founded in 2010. In 2017 she founded her solo project THE BLACK MUSE - A NEW INTERPRETATION OF HARP. In November 2018, the first solo CD was released.
